Our founding team have been in the wine business for over 20 years collectively and all have a driving desire to make Wine more approachable and easy to navigate for Consumers.

With Wine pretty much only available in 750ml bottles finding out what you do like and what you don't is challenging, both from a price perspective and knowing what to take a chance on.

Having operated one of the UK's leading natural wine retailers for many years, our Managing Director Luke knew that consumers wanted to try the vast variety of wines out there but were apprehensive to venture out of what they know and risk paying for a premium bottle that doesn't fit what they traditionally enjoy.

With a desire from customers and a gap in the market our team in 2021 started the task of finding a solution to dispense wine into single serve vessels without any change to the wines quality.

Our first launch was in conjunction with one of the world's most prestigious wine boards, Oregon in December 2021. In conjunction with Juiced Wines we sent over 2000 glasses to customers across the UK with incredible feedback, however, we knew we could do better.

Fast forward to 2023 and after extensive travel to China and looking into how we can offer By The Glass in the most sustainable way without adding additional waste to the winemaking sector we have partnered with Coravin on their latest Vinitas product.

The Coravin Vinitas® system uses a stream of pure argon to extract wine from traditional bottles or vessel to dispense into our custom 100ml Sample Bottles.

This proprietary technology creates a controlled, oxygen-free environment to ensure that each Sample Bottle is perfectly preserved for up to 12 months.
